According to a new report, ESPN approached WWE about adding extra matches to the Night of Champions card in order to bolster the paid standalone segment of the broadcast that aired on ESPN+. Meanwhile, the first hour of premium live events being free to watch is expected to continue for the foreseeable future, at least through the end of the current agreement.
