The alliance between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower in 'House of the Dragon' season 2 feels deeply at odds with the tragedy that has unfolded between them. These are women whose families have killed each other's sons, fathers, and grandsons , how can they simply come together like this? It undermines the weight of the story.
