Toy Story 5 is on a tear at the global box office. The film's actual overseas numbers came in over $3 million higher than initial projections, pushing it past $600 million worldwide tonight. It's now firmly on track to join the billion-dollar club. The sequel also set a new Toy Story franchise record with a $92.5 million second weekend overseas, only a 38.6% drop from its opening, compared to The Super Mario Bros. Movie's $103.8 million in the same frame.
