Bleach is making waves at the U.S. box office. The first three episodes of the upcoming final season, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War , The Calamity, received a five-day theatrical premiere through Fathom Events. The release grossed a strong $3.3 million over the four-day opening weekend across just 943 theaters, with $2.2 million of that coming from the first day alone:
