Japan NEET youth rates 2000-2012

The share of Japanese youth not in employment, education, or training (NEET) has fluctuated modestly over the past decade. In 2000, the rate stood at roughly 4.10%, rising to a peak of around 4.40% in 2003 and again in 2009. After dipping to about 3.90% in 2007, it climbed back to 4.30% in 2011.
