It's official. A24's R-rated sci-fi horror film 'Backrooms' has surpassed 'Hannibal' to become the 13th highest-grossing horror movie of all time at the domestic box office. Director Kane Parsons, also known as YouTuber Kane Pixels, saw an estimated $1.8 million on its third Wednesday, a drop of just 42.9% from the previous Wednesday, despite losing 161 theaters last Friday.
