The NBA is officially back in a big way. The 2026 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs drew the largest audience for a Finals series since 1998 and became the most-watched Finals ever on ABC. Game 5 alone averaged 24.5 million viewers, peaked at 33 million, and saw a staggering 157% increase in viewership compared to previous years. Full details here:
