Iran's national team head coach claims the squad was forced to leave the United States immediately following their 1-1 draw against New Zealand in the 2026 World Cup. “It's very important for us to have time for recovery, but we've been told to return to our camp in Tijuana and we are really troubled by that,” the coach said. The team had expected to stay in the U.S. for rest and preparation but instead must relocate to Mexico.
