New figures show that marketing revenue for the 2026 World Cup has risen to €2.6 billion, compared to €1.6 billion in Qatar 2022. Television revenue has also increased, reaching €4.1 billion compared to the €3.2 billion recorded in Qatar. Up to €290 million of the €2.4 billion investment fund drawn from the World Cup revenue will be redistributed to the member associations.
