    Mosques in London growth 2000-2026

    The number of mosques across London has grown steadily over the past quarter century. In 2000 there were 200 mosques in the city. By 2001 that figure had risen to 265. The count continued to increase each year as follows: 2002 saw 275 mosques. 2003 reached 285. 2004 climbed to 295. 2005 arrived at 310. 2006 stood at 325. 2007 hit 340. 2008 moved up to 355. 2009 got to 370. 2010 came in at 385. 2011 totaled 395. 2012 advanced to 410. 2013 grew to 425. 2014 settled at 435. 2015 increased to 445. 2016 expanded to 455. 2017 recorded 462. 2018 listed 468. 2019 noted 474. 2020 showed 478. 2021 reported 482. 2022 indicated 485. 2023 reflected 488. 2024 reached 491. 2025 is projected at 493. 2026 is expected to total 495.
