Looking back at recent lottery results: The Mavericks had the 11th pick last year, the Hawks had the 10th pick in 2024, the Spurs landed the 3rd pick in 2023, the Magic got the 2nd pick in 2022, the Pistons also had the 2nd pick in 2021, the Timberwolves picked 3rd in 2020, the Pelicans were 7th in 2019, the Suns had the last pick in 2018, the Celtics got the last pick via the Nets in 2017, and the 76ers had the last pick in 2016.
