@FootynewsThe number that jumps out first: 43 players and 8 technical staff members sent off in one SUB-20 match between Uberlândia and Mamoré in Brazil. That clears the old Guinness World Record of 36, which had stood since 2011, though official recognition of the new mark hasn't come through yet. Where did it all start? Stoppage time, right after Mamoré scored their third. Squads and staff went at each other near the benches, and the referee called the match off because of it. Up to six stretcher-bearers ended up in the middle of the scrap, and stretchers and chairs were being flung around too. Minas Gerais U20 football delivered something nobody had on their bingo card.
