@mickatthemoviesThe plot of Cruel World from 2005 centers on Jaime Pressly as Catherine Anderson, a television personality who actually met her husband Daniel Anderson while filming a fictional reality dating show called Lover's Lane. That entire production took place inside a massive isolated mansion where Sam Page plays the character Daniel. Things get interesting at the finale when Catherine officially rejects contestant Philip Markham, portrayed by Edward Furlong. Her reasoning for sending him home was blunt: she told him straight up that she couldn't make him happy.
