About this photo
The focus is a costumed figure with a large eye and a candle-like headpiece. The figure is crouched on a yellow tactile paving strip at a busy, brightly lit intersection at night. The mood is surreal and urban, with a vibrant, almost chaotic aesthetic. The figure wears a yellow polka-dot top with a fluffy collar and dark pants, and the bright red glow from the candle-head is particularly notable. Visible on buildings in the background are signs for IKEA, Suntory, and Tsutaya.
