@mauricio.moreno🤯 THIS HAS HAPPENED IN FOOTBALL HISTORY! In a lower-league match played in 1998, referee Martin Sylvester became very angry at a player's action and, unable to control his temper, punched the player. The field immediately erupted. The referee stopped the game, showed himself a red card, and left the match! A fourth official then took charge of the encounter. Years later, Martin recounted that moment as follows: "I was aware that I had done wrong. But about a week before the match, I experienced extremely bad days in my personal life. I think it was due to that effect that I couldn't control my nerves. Showing myself a red card was the most correct thing to do."
