@FootynewsHernán Barcos is an idol in Peru, China, Ecuador and beyond, a historical goal scorer. The road there started in Bell Ville, Córdoba, in a house with four brothers where there often wasn't enough to go around. He and Sergio took on the daily bread problem together, selling tangerines and alfajores on the street, with mornings spent working alongside their uncle and afternoons saved for school. His own account of those years is the part that stays with you: "My family was very poor and we did not eat well. That is why, my brother and I, when we were kids, would come back from school and pass by a funeral to eat some sandwiches, have a soda, and take some home." And on how they carried themselves there: "We were very respectful. We greeted the deceased's family, greeted the deceased, ate something, and left." What sits underneath the goals is a kid who went hungry, a brother beside him, and a family that kept going. 🇦🇷 #Football
