Israeli markets decline after election deadlock

@jolyonNeither major political bloc in Israel managed to secure the 61 Knesset seats required for a governing majority, and the resulting deadlock is now driving market performance down. The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange benchmark TA-125 fell by 2.3% while the index TA-90 dropped even sharper at 4.4%. Political uncertainty following the election has weakened Israel's currency by more than 2% against major currencies, pushing the US dollar to trade at approximately 3.72 shekels. Data from Trading View confirms the selloff attributed directly to the lack of a clear outcome.
