About this photo
The image is a letter with a humorous tone. It's a request for a day off work to watch a WNBA game. The style is informal and persuasive. A notable detail is the signature of Flavor Flav, along with his title. ON-SCREEN TEXT: Dear Boss, Please excuse ________ from work for the entire day on Thursday. You know what time it is! There is a very important WNBA Women's Finals game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries, tipping off at 12:30 PM EST. EVERYBODY WATCHES WOMEN'S SPORTS! You support women's sports, RIGHT?! So please go ahead and approve that day off. Consider it your contribution to gender equality. Thank you for your cooperation and for doing the right thing. Sincerely, Flavor Flav Flavor Flav The World's Greatest Hype Man Official Supporter of Women's Sports
