@kunalsummerThat moment in the Firefly Funhouse scene, standing beside a TV that just kept playing Windham on a loop, is where it finally sank in for Alexa Bliss. Being part of it again was cool, she said, but heartbreaking once it was over. She felt like a chapter had closed, and it was one of the first times the reality that he was actually gone really hit her. What made the whole thing land so hard goes back further. On A Shot of Brandi she said closure with Bray never came, because the last time she was with him was WrestleMania, where she turned on him against Randy Orton. They were supposed to reunite after that show, but then she learned she was pregnant and he had gotten sick and was out for a while. Ships in the night, as she described it. She also remembered an interview where Bray said the two of them would always be connected in some way, and that gave her a sense of comfort. Then there's The Wyatt Sicks' haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights. Her first walkthrough was super heavy, she said, since it was all of Windham's ideas in one place. He had always wanted a house at the event, so seeing it happen was cool but bittersweet knowing he would never see it. That first time through felt like someone hit you in the gut, but she really wanted to be in the house. What stays with her is that Universal let her do it at all. For her it was saying goodbye and going back to where it started, and they let her have that moment
