@sandeepxLeon Slater says the TNA World Championship is only now starting to feel like his. On the I Love Wrestling Podcast he called the whole thing very surreal and admitted it took a while to settle in, mostly because he'd spent so long seeing Nic Nemeth with the belt that he felt like he was just carrying Nemeth's title around. What makes it click for him is where he is. Slater still lives at home and calls it a great balance between his professional life and his personal life. So after winning a world title, as any other 22-year-old does, he hopped on GTA with his friends. PlayStation on, TNA Championship set up on the TV table, party chat going. He asked them what they thought he was looking at. They said they were driving through Los Santos. He told them no, he was looking at the TNA World Championship, sitting in his room while he played. Hard for him to compute. Same room he's sat in for the past 10-15 years. Same game he's been playing for 13. The only difference is the actual TNA World Championship on the TV table. He's excited for the title to take him in a new direction and excited to take it in a new direction too and make some magic as TNA World Champion
