@dr.topazThe observable universe stretches 46 billion light-years in every direction even though the cosmos is only 13.8 billion years old. That gap means some objects are receding from Earth at speeds faster than light.

About this photo
The image depicts a visualization of spacetime, likely representing a wormhole or a black hole's gravitational lensing effect. The focus is on the warped fabric of space, illustrated as a grid with stars and galaxies embedded within it. A bright blue light emanates from a central point, suggesting an intense energy source or singularity. The aesthetic is scientific and awe-inspiring, evoking a sense of cosmic wonder. The grid lines bending and stretching dramatically are visually notable, emphasizing the distortion of space. There is no on-screen text.
