@FootynewsBoth Olympique de Marseille and Lille are dealing with the fallout after their official club shops got hit during the riots that swept France over the weekend. The Marseille spot on La Canebière came out of it badly, enough damage that it had to shut its doors for the time being. Over in Lille, the downtown branch got looted, and it stays closed with no reopening date set yet. Neither club stayed quiet about it: each one spoke out against the looting and vandalism, gave a shout to the folks who pitched in and helped staff on the ground, and made clear they're standing with everyone touched by what went down. Not even the merch shops were off limits, apparently.
