@FootynewsThe landscape for the next FIFA presidential race just shifted dramatically with reports that Claudio Tapia, the president of AFA, is seriously weighing a bid for the top job. This potential run would put him in direct competition against Gianni Infantino and Nasser Al-Khelaifi for the position. The field narrowed significantly after Victor Montagliani of CONCACAF and Aleksander Ceferin of UEFA confirmed they will not be running in the elections. That withdrawal effectively positions Tapia as a leading potential candidate representing the American continent in what is shaping up to be a high-stakes contest. The official vote is locked in for March 18, 2027, taking place in Morocco. It feels like a major power move from Chiqui Tapia who might finally be ready to challenge the current hierarchy. #ClaudioTapia
