@Footynews🎙 Rodri Hernandez: "Agüero and Otamendi used to make fun of me all the time. Not just because of my clothes, but because I used to get on the bus after every match and FaceTime my wife. Since I am a footballer and she is a doctor, we had to get used to being in a long-distance relationship for many years. What do you do when you are in a long-distance relationship? You FaceTime." "I called her after every match, whether we won or lost. When we won, there was no problem, because the guys got loud, celebrated, and didn't notice. But when we lost, I remained myself. I had no filter. When I talk to my wife, it's as if my brain goes back to university. I become Rodrigo again. So there was a sepulchral silence on the bus, everyone with their heads down, everyone depressed, and I spoke out loud, saying: 'Yes, we were a bit bad today, to be honest. Yes, yes, we drew. Yes, I'm angry... anyway, how was your day?'" "The first time, Agüero and Otamendi took me aside and told me: 'You can't talk like that on the bus! Pep can hear you, everyone can hear you!' But after every match I called her with no filter at all. 'Yes, today went well. We won, but I played a bit badly. Are you watching Netflix? What are you eating?' They wanted to kill me, but I didn't care."
