@urdjakademiksZelensky found out about the energy ceasefire from the news, not from Trump. That's the part sitting weird with me. Trump went on Truth Social this Sunday, October 11 and said the agreement between Ukraine and Russia kicks in right away. His words were that both sides signed off on it and they better not break it, though he didn't say anything else about what the deal actually involves. Zelensky's response to Axios was that nobody told him beforehand. He said if the Russians agree to stop hitting energy infrastructure, Ukraine is on board. He also put it plainly: if President Trump worked this out with Putin, then just say when it starts, because they're ready to accept it. Worth remembering what came right before this. Trump spent Saturday going after Kyiv for the strikes on Russian refineries, and he threw out that Ukraine should get a new president. Then a day later, this ceasefire announcement lands. Make of that what you want. #VolodymyrZelenskyy
