anime opinion shift over time

About this photo

This is a meme comparing public opinion on anime in 2005 and 2026. The image uses a minimalist, graphic style with black and white figures. In 2005, a single figure surrounded by a crowd says "I like anime," while in 2026, a single figure surrounded by a crowd says "I hate anime." The contrast between the two years and the shift in sentiment is the most notable aspect.
