@urdjakademiksBurundian President Evariste Ndayishimiye has agreed to take back people expelled from the United States, matching a similar deal made with Congolese President Tshisekedi. This move fits into President Donald Trump's expanded immigration policy but comes with strict conditions since acceptance only covers individuals without criminal records or terrorism links. Nothing specific about money, deadlines, or exactly how many deportees are involved has been shared yet. Burundian authorities say they are getting ready for these arrivals and working on integration plans.
