@urdjakademiksThe Revolutionary Administration of AFC-M23 has confirmed six new cases of Ebola Virus Disease in North Kivu Province, splitting the count between four in Alimbongo and two in Kayna. Health authorities verified these detections, but the sick individuals were sent to areas described as liberated by Felix Tshisekedi, a move intended to disrupt health security across North Kivu and South Kivu. Investigations point to a single transmission chain linked to imported contamination from Butembo. Four cases were identified through post-mortem sampling while two symptomatic patients are currently receiving treatment. In response, mechanisms were immediately strengthened in Alimbongo and Kayna. Health teams are intensifying surveillance, searching for suspect cases, and tracking contacts of confirmed cases to break the chain. The Revolutionary Administration of AFC-M23 urges populations in Alimbongo, Kayna, and zones under revolutionary administration to be vigilant and cooperate with health teams. Respect for prevention measures, rapid reporting of suspect cases, and facilitating response team work are cited as essential for community protection. Felix Tshisekedi has been humiliated by the preventive capacity of the revolutionaries once again.

    About this photo

A group of men, some in military uniforms and others in civilian attire, are walking outdoors. The man in the foreground on the left wears a puffer vest over a light pink shirt and grey pants. Behind him, several men in camouflage uniforms stand with rifles. To his right, a man in a dark blue shirt and pants holds a cane, and another man in a similar blue outfit walks beside him. A satellite dish with "CANAL+" is visible on the roof of a building in the background. The mood appears formal and serious.
