    ⭐Seth Rogen⭐Jonah Hill🎬Superbad
Seth Rogen Superbad PlayStation Call of Duty

@professional_portalThe timeline of this brand rejection and eventual redemption is genuinely wild. Sony originally turned down a scene in Superbad where the characters were playing PlayStation because Jonah Hill's character, who was modeled after Seth Rogen, was deemed too despicable for a Sony console to feature. The logic was that a fictional alter ego based on Rogen simply couldn't be shown enjoying their hardware. That specific scene had to be altered so PlayStation didn't appear in the final movie at all, effectively banning the brand from the film. But the story doesn't end with that initial refusal. Years later, the dynamic flipped completely when Seth Rogen partnered with PlayStation as an official collaborator. He went on to create a crossover playable character for Call of Duty alongside PlayStation, fully integrating himself into the ecosystem. It is genuinely amusing that Sony rejected a character based on him only for him to become part of the family years later. The irony of a fictional version being banned while the real creator gets invited in is the kind of career math that just works out perfectly.

    About this photo

The image focuses on two men, seemingly Seth Rogen and Michael Cera, playing video games. They are seated in front of a futuristic cityscape filled with PlayStation branding and game imagery. The mood is playful and nostalgic, with a clear gaming aesthetic. Notably, the men are wearing colorful, retro-inspired outfits, and the foreground is stacked with PlayStation 5 game cases. The text "SUPERBAD" is prominently displayed in large red lettering at the bottom of the image. On-screen text includes "@SceneinCinema" and a small "Grok" watermark.
