@jackie_47Hermes just made local models something you can actually set up without knowing anything about hardware. Go into the desktop app, hit settings, then providers, then local models, and it figures out which model fits your machine and loads it for you. No technical work anywhere in the process. It'll even recommend a specific model if you're on something like a dirt cheap Mac Mini. You tap 'set up for me' and the whole configuration runs itself. And if local AI models end up banned, you'll want to have started experimenting already. No excuses, do this ASAP
