    AI as your doctor?

@felix_pThat moment when a headache hits and the first instinct isn't to call a clinic but to fire up ChatGPT. You type in what hurts, and seconds later there is a list of potential causes staring back at you. The clarity feels good. The detail feels thorough. It can seem like you have finally cracked the code on your own body without ever leaving the couch. But here is the hard truth that gets lost in the convenience: AI cannot do a physical exam. It cannot run medical tests. It cannot replace the comprehensive assessment of a qualified healthcare professional who actually knows how bodies work. A single symptom like a headache can stem from entirely different underlying conditions that look nothing alike until a real doctor connects the dots. Relying on an answer that sounds convincing without seeking professional verification is where the danger hides. Technology has a role to play here. It can suggest questions to ask during an appointment or help users recognize certain warning signs before things get worse. That is the useful side of it. But treating AI as the sole source of medical advice risks trading safety for convenience. The glow of a screen offering quick answers might feel reassuring, yet it is not the same thing as understanding your illness. Are you using AI as your doctor? If so, you are walking a line between helpful information and dangerous assumptions. #ChatGPT #GPT

    About this photo

A young man is the focus, looking stressed while holding his phone. He's sitting at a desk in a dimly lit room at night, with city lights visible through the window. The mood is serious and contemplative, with a hint of anxiety. The text overlay asks "Are You Using AI as Your Doctor?".
