The focus is a bronze statue of a young man in military attire, seen from a low angle. He is posed as if looking out over a landscape, with one leg forward and a backpack on his shoulders. The mood is somber and heroic, set against a cloudy blue sky. A small airplane is visible in the distance, adding to the historical or wartime context. The base of the statue features a carved emblem and what appears to be Japanese text.
