    ⭐Trish Stratus⭐Zoey Stark⭐Candice LeRae
    Trish Stratus interview wrestling stage

@sandeepxTrish Stratus explains that a return to the ring requires several boxes to be checked before she would commit. She tells John that this is the only way she would do it, emphasizing that many conditions must be met. The core principle is that any comeback cannot be self-serving. She questions the point of returning if it does not give back to others. It has to serve a purpose beyond just her own interests. She looks at her previous work with Zoey Stark as an example of this mindset. When she went back to work with Zoey, she acknowledges she was not doing much for Becky Lynch in terms of career elevation. She was not giving Becky the rub because Becky is already Becky Lynch. Instead, that angle provided a neat storyline and a fantasy matchup for fans to see. It gave the audience something they had not seen before. But the real value for Trish was bringing Zoey on board. She found it cool to teach Zoey about promos. Even after Trish left, Zoey identified promos as a problem area. They continued to work on those skills together. Trish loves being able to do that kind of mentoring. She loves the opportunity to work with people and help them grow. She recalls a specific match in Toronto involving Nia and Candice. She was particularly excited about working with Candice. Trish points out that Candice has been actively wrestling for much longer than she has. She was thrilled to share the spotlight with someone so experienced. It allowed people to see what Candice can do. Trish believes Candice deserves significantly more of a spotlight. This philosophy extends to her long-term story planning. Last year marked her 25th anniversary. The storyline with Tiffy was strategic and started way back at Money In The Bank in Toronto. Planting that seed was not a coincidence. It was a deliberate move to have that narrative available for later. That is what she is about when it comes to long-term storytelling. Fans can look back at these moments and see the progression. There was a tag match in Toronto that served as a great babyface moment. Then came the face off. The question became where the story could go next. Trish says she would love to have a finale match to cap off that arc. This was part of her 25th anniversary plans. However, personal life intervened. Her mom got sick and eventually passed away. Despite that tragedy, she was excited to bring that long-term story to life. When people ask if she is going back, she says she has boxes to line up first. If a return is going to happen, those conditions must be met. She asks herself what purpose she is serving. She considers if the fans are being fulfilled. She evaluates if the story is serving a real purpose. Only if all those elements align would she consider stepping back into the ring.
