    @savageupdatesData of Statistics put out the official ranking of hypermarket chains by number of locations and it’s a proper global spread. Walmart tops it with 3,559 spots, then Kaufland at 1,591 and Carrefour at 1,220. Costco Wholesale lands at 914, http://E.Leclerc follows with 838, and Sam’s Club is right there at 820. Tesco has 810, Aeon has 625, RT-Mart counts 500, and Auchan sits at 494. Magnit comes in with 480, Soriana 450, Asda 375, Sainsbury’s 350, Lulu Hypermarket 260. Meijer is at 259, Target 240, Lenta 230, Lotte Mart 175, and E-Mart rounds it out with 155.
