About this photo
The image is a screenshot of the Amazon.com Books homepage from the late 1990s. The focus is on the website's content, which includes a welcome message, information about book selection, and account services. The mood is informative and promotional, typical of early e-commerce websites. A notable detail is the retro design and the prominent Amazon.com logo. ON-SCREEN TEXT: Welcome to Amazon.com Books!
