Backrooms box office milestone
@rogers_jamieJapan and China pushed A24 horror Backrooms to become the eleventh highest-grossing film in history, finally crossing that massive 400.1 million dollar Global BoxOffice threshold. KaneParsons, known as KanePixels, brought in an international cumulative gross of 202.6 million dollars across over 60 markets while the US added another 197.5 million dollars. With a production cost of just 10 million dollars excluding marketing expenses, this phenomenon marks the first time this specific title has hit such numbers globally.
