Hadestown beats Hamilton at US box office
@rogers_jamieHadestown's West End encore just became the highest grossing musical encore ever at the US box office, overtaking Hamilton. It pulled in $2M in its second weekend, the second biggest for an encore behind Hamilton's $2.2M. After 11 days, its $18.2M cume has already surpassed Hamilton's entire domestic run of $16.9M. The run got extended another week.
