President Trump called a reporter's inquiry about using a nuclear weapon against Iran stupid after stating the nation is already completely defeated militarily. He noted that while he would never say yes to ruling it out, he has in fact ruled it out since there is no reason for such an action on top of a military defeat. The logic of deploying a nuclear weapon after they are defeated seems flawed to him.
