Police have confirmed what happened at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster: a man went into the tiger enclosure at the South Yorkshire zoo and did not come out alive. Officers fielded several emergency calls about it. He had apparently gone in on his own, and on purpose. How he got past whatever separates visitors from the tigers is the part still being worked out. Medics declared him dead where he was found.
