🇾🇪 Yemen’s recognized president offered Houthi fighters a way out if they drop the gun. After losing the Red Sea coast, he told the country to enlist and said anyone who leaves the Houthis from 26 September can get a general amnesty, with paperwork to follow. That is a classic wartime bargain: come over and we will pretend the last years were a mistake. Sanaa is still the prize, and the strait is still the problem.
