Real Madrid TV went in on Barcelona, La Liga and Javier Tebas before El Clásico. Their claim is that Barça get a big edge on refereeing calls, and they frame the whole league as affected by the Negreira case and by Tebas. They also say Barcelona players have been carrying on like they're referees themselves in recent weeks. Then the pivot: strip out the La Liga controversy and Real Madrid are the clear footballing favourites for El Clásico. The media, per RM TV, keep treating Barcelona like the eighth wonder of the world, as if something extraordinary is happening. And they point at 11 seasons without winning anything in Europe and say that's no coincidence. Reported remarks, not my words, but the confidence is something.
