A Trump Executive Order has triggered a display shift on Google Maps where U.S. users now see the name Lake America. The same map keeps showing Lake Ontario to viewers in Canada, while audiences elsewhere encounter both names with Lake America appearing inside parentheses.
why do people keep treating this name change like it's some serious political statement when it's just Google trying to appease two different governments at once? 🤣😂❤️
