What happened at the University of Michigan is one thing. The backstory of the young woman who attacked me and Based in Malibu is what really gets under your skin. She was a human rights advocate out of South Mongolia once, among the youngest people willing to publicly take on the Communist Party of China. Speeches before Congress on freedom and human rights, warnings about what happens when state power piles up in too few hands. Those talks are still out there and they were worth hearing. Now she's a left-wing radical, a socialism supporter, and on OnlyFans. That combination lands like something out of a bad dream. So what is going on with young women at American universities? My honest read is that the whole system has stopped being education and turned into ideological conditioning, a re-education camp in all but name, taking girls who care about liberty and equality and human rights and producing unstable radicals who will swing at you for disagreeing. The contrast between who she was and who she is now is the clearest proof of it I've seen.

I remember watching that same speaker address Congress years ago when she was advocating for freedom. It is strange to see how quickly someone can change their public stance on such important issues.
