iFANN is a fandom- and interests-driven modern social platform. It brings three things together in one place: a social feed where fans post and discuss, a structured wiki of the people and entertainment fans care about, and fan-powered polls and awards. Whether you follow celebrities, movies, TV, music, games, sports, or any niche interest, iFANN is where you discover, follow, discuss, and vote on what you love.
Why we built it
Fandom today is scattered across feeds that aren't built for it, encyclopedias that aren't social, and polls that disappear the moment they close. iFANN is built from the ground up around interests and the communities that form around them: so the conversation, the reference knowledge, and the collective voice of fans all live in the same home.
The Global Fame Engine
At the center of iFANN's data products is the Global Fame Engine: a first-of-its-kind system built to create a living, worldwide picture of fame. It follows many independent public trails across countries, locations, cultures, industries, and generations instead of treating followers or any single platform as the definition of fame.
The Engine powers iFANN's worldwide, regional, country, industry, and Trending rankings. It is smart enough to recognize fame that exists strongly in real life, including major historical and public figures with little or no personal online presence. A Global Fame Score is one output of the Engine; the rankings and future data products are built on the technology beneath it.
